Mockly is in early access. This page says what this website and Mockly collect today. A full privacy policy will replace it before early access ends.

This website

  • This website sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts.
  • The contact form isn't connected yet. It checks what you type in your browser, and nothing you enter is sent to us or stored.
  • Like any web server, the server hosting this site may keep standard request logs for security and operations.

Your Mockly account

When you create an account and use the studio, Mockly keeps:

  • Your name, your email address, and a hash of your password, never the password itself. Your email address is verified before you can use the account.
  • The organizations you create or join, your role in each, and the invitations you send, which include the address you invited.
  • For each session you log in with, when it started, and the IP address and browser it came from.
  • Sign-in attempts, counted per IP address to slow down password guessing.
  • What you build: your sites' code, files, settings, and published versions, and the email notifications you set up.

Account emails (verifying your address, resetting your password, and invitations) and the notifications you ask for are sent through an email delivery provider, which receives each recipient's address and the email.

Cookies in the studio

  • A session cookie keeps you logged in. It's set when you log in, and logging out removes it.
  • One cookie remembers whether you collapsed the dashboard's sidebar.
  • Your theme, your editor's layout, and similar choices stay in your browser's local storage. The studio uses no advertising or analytics cookies.

Sites built with Mockly

When Mockly serves a site, it records what analytics and experiment results need, and keeps what visitors send through the site's forms for the site's owner. See Security and data for exactly what's recorded and what's never stored.

Your data, and questions

You can change your email address and delete your account yourself, in the studio's account settings. Deleting it removes your name, your email address, your password hash, your sessions, your memberships, and the invitations you sent. If you're the only person in an organization, you delete its sites first, and the organization goes with your account. Organizations other people are in, and their sites, carry on without you.
